Decal Junky sells single color computer cut vinyl decals, which means that the background is removed leaving only the image. They are applied with an application tape and give the appearance of being painted on when applied. Only the decal image pieces will remain on the surface. We use the same vinyl material that is used for outdoor signs and vehicle graphics with outdoor durability of seven years.

How do you size decals? Is the size listed the width or the height?

The size for each decal is listed on the product page. The first number in the size is the decal at it's largest point.
For example, a decal that is taller that it is wide, like Cross 09, will have the height listed first. A decal that is wider than it is tall, like Deer Hunting Dogs 03, will have the width listed first. Adding text to a decal will change the overall dimensions. Any text you enter is included in the size of the decal, which may slightly reduce the size of the artwork.

Do you have a catalog?

We use our online catalog as our visual and don't offer a printed catalog. New decals are added regularly and it would be impossible to keep up in print. Please add us to your favorites and visit often to view the latest additions.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Decal orders are mailed out on Friday of every week, cut off time is Wednesday at noon. Orders received after noon on Wednesday will be scheduled to mail out the next Friday. Please allow a minimum of ten business days to process all decal orders. We don't maintain any stock decals. Each decal order that we receive is custom cut when we receive the order.

How is my order shipped?

All orders are shipped United States Postal Service. During the checkout process we offer First Class Mail (delivery time varies), USPS Postal Priority with Delivery Confirmation (delivery time is usually 2-3 business days) and Express Mail (delivery time is usually within 48 hours).

How much is shipping?

Orders that total up to $10.00 are charged $2.75.
Orders that total $10.01 - $14.99 are charged $3.99.
Orders that total $14.99 - $149.99 are charged $8.15.
Orders that total $150.00 - $550.99 are charged $14.95.
Orders that total $551.00 - $1000.00 are charged $20.75.

Express Mail shipping options are also offered during the check out process.

All international packages are shipped via United States Postal Service Express Mail International. This is the only international shipping method offered by the United States Postal Service that gives tracking information within the United States and other countries.

International orders that total up to $14.99 are charged $29.95.
Orders that total $15.00 - $150.00 are charged $39.95.
Orders that total $150.00 - $550.99 are charged $549.95.
Orders that total $550.00 - $1000.00 are charged $72.95.

Can I put my decal on the inside of the window?

By default, the decals are cut to be applied to the outside. If you want the decals reverse cut for inside application, please select that option on the shopping cart preview page before proceeding with the check out process.

Do you offer different sizes than the ones listed?

If a size that you need is not listed, or if you need the decal cut to fit within a certain size area, please order the closest size and add a note in the Order Notes on the shopping cart preview page. Please provide a valid email address or phone number so that we can contact you if we have any questions. Our decals are not stock decals, we custom cut each decal order that we receive.

Do you have other colors that the ones listed in the catalog?

If you need a color not listed in the catalog, please make a note in the special instructions box when you place the order. If we have the color we will process the order. If we don't have the color you will be contacted by email or by phone.

Will my rear window defroster or wiper blade hurt the decal?

The rear window defroster will not hurt the decal. The defroster does not get hot enough to melt the vinyl. If you have a rear window windshield wiper and you may want to apply the decal in the top center or in a corner out of reach of the wiper blade as the decal may start to peel in the small detailed areas and will also wear your blade out if you use it a lot.

Do you make multi color decals?

The decals that we sell are single color vinyl cut out decals. The only multi color decals that we offer are the flag decals. If you need multi color stickers and decals in large quantity we recommend that you contact our good friends at websticker.com they have great customer service and quality products.

What is an etched glass decal?

Etched Glass decals are cut using a special grey frosted translucent type vinyl and when applied to a glass surface give the illusion of the image being etched into the glass. The etched glass decals look beautiful on tinted windows and all glass surfaces and mirrors.

Can I design my own decal?

You can enter any special instructions about the size, text or layout and design of your order in the Order Notes box on the shopping cart preview page. Please provide a valid email address or phone number so that we can contact you if we have any questions.

I only need lettering. Where can I order a text decal without any artwork?

You can order text decals from the Design a Text Decal section of our website. These decals are sized by the width of each line. If you have special size or design instructions, please enter those in the Order Notes box on the shopping cart preview page. You will be able to add notes to your order after you add the item to your shopping cart.

Do you ship C.O.D.?

Decal Junky does not accept C.O.D. orders. Our company accepts most major credit cards through our online catalog. We can accept your credit card order at the site or by phone. Regular mail orders are accepted with a check or money order. Please see our customer service page for additional mail order instructions and mailing address.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

When the shipping labels are printed and the decals are packaged for mailing you will receive a shipping confirmation notice in your email at the email address provided when you placed the order. If you don't receive the shipping confirmation, the email was returned to us "undeliverable" due to an invalid email address being provided when the order was placed. The email confirmation will contain your tracking information if applicable for your order.

What if I received a shipping confirmation but I never received my order?

If you received a shipping confirmation email and you haven't received your order within ten business of the original shipping date please contact us by email at Allison@decaljunky.com or by phone. Decal Junky is not responsible for orders not received after 30 days.

How do I cancel an order already placed?

If you need to cancel an order that has already been placed you can call us during customer service hours or send an email to include your order number and the reason that you want or need to cancel the order.

Decal Junky is forced to charge 25% on decal orders that are canceled after the close of business on the day the order is placed. If you place a decal order and then decide that you want to cancel the order we have a 25% cancellation fee if the order is canceled after the close of business on the day it was placed. If the order is canceled before the close of business and on the same day it was placed there will be zero cancellation fee.

What do you do with customer information?

Custom Signs Decal Junky does not sell or share any information with anyone at any time for any reason. All of the information that you provide is used for business with Custom Signs Decal Junky only. We want you to feel safe and secure when doing business with us. Please review our privacy policy posted on the customer service page

What is your return policy?

We want you to be happy with your decal purchase and will work with you any way that we can to make sure you get the decals that you want. If for some reason you decide that the decal is not what you want we offer a refund minus 25% of the order total. Return the decal to us in the original condition and a refund will be issued. Decals should be returned within 30 days for refund or exchange.

If the decal contained an error, please check your order to make sure that the information you provided when you placed the order is correct. If the error is our fault we will gladly mail out a replacement at no charge. Please email Allison@decaljunky.com if there is a problem with your order.

All items must be returned in original condition to receive a refund or exchange.

We recommend that you return the decal USPS Priority mail with Delivery Confirmation. Envelopes and boxes are provided for free at your local post office and the shipping label can be printed at USPS.com.

I placed an order and am excited to see the finished product! Do you have bulk order prices?

We offer the decals at a discount when you order in quantity of 12 or more. Pricing will depend on the design, size and quantity ordered. To receive discount pricing please email the information for the decals, design, size and quantity. When the information is received a sample is provided by email to include pricing.

Do the decals adhere to canvas fabric?

Not very well. We have used them for stencils to paint the image onto canvas fabric. The decals are cut in reverse. Ex. The letters are removed and a border is left around the image or letters. You apply the stencil then paint the image onto the canvas and remove the vinyl stencil. It leaves a good clean sharp image. The paint that is used for painting on canvas fabric is called 1 Shot Sign Painters, speed dry UV acrylic.

FYI: The decals cut for stencils also work well for glass etchings.

If you need a stencil, please email the specifications and we will be happy to set it up for you. Length, letter size etc. and design. Simple graphics work best. It gets tedious when you work with intricate designs.

I was wondering if I was able to preview what a decal would look like if I designed it myself before I ordered it...

If you would like to see a sample of your decal before it is sent to production, please make your request in the Order Notes box on the shopping cart preview page. A sample of your decal will be emailed to the email address provided when you place your order.

What type of surfaces do the decals stick to?

The decals are cut with the same vinyl material that is used for vehicle graphics and outdoor signage with outdoor durability of seven years.

They can be applied to windows, vehicle bodies, boats, metal, most plastics, fiberglass, mailboxes, picture frames, mirrors, aluminum, motorcycles etc.

Just make sure that you clean the area real well as the decals will not adhere to a surface that has been waxed. You can wax over the decals after they have been applied, they just won't stick to the wax. They can also accept a clear coat if you need that type of application.

By default the decals are cut to be applied to the outside. We can reverse cut them for inside application when requested.
